Message from the CEO

Dear Fellow Member,

As the effects of the pandemic unfold, we continue to serve the military community. In early April we announced a $520 million dividend for USAA auto insurance policyholders. Based on a steady trend of reduced driving and fewer accident claims by members, USAA will return an additional $280 million to members through a second premium dividend.

After receiving the credit associated with our previous dividend, members with active policies in effect as of April 30, 2020, automatically will receive an additional credit of 20% of one month’s worth of premium applied to their auto and property insurance account in late May. You do not need to call or take any other action.

To help ease some of the pressures experienced by military families this year, USAA and the USAA Foundation, Inc. have donated more than $10.7 million to military, local and national non-profits. We invite you to join us in lending a hand. Visit https://usaa.benevity.org/community to learn more.

In these uncertain times, here’s one thing you can depend on — USAA’s mission to serve members never will change.

Respectfully,

Wayne Peacock

Chief Executive Officer
