Creating a Community of Veteran Business Owners

Think Veterans First, now Think Veterans First is an organization that highlights the significance of veteran-owned businesses. We aim to form a network of veteran entrepreneurs through which they can collaborate, share best practices and support each other.

We will reach out to the American public, veterans, veteran organizations, and government and federal entities to promote the Think, Shop, Buy Veteran First movement that is sweeping across the Country.  Remember to "Think, Shop, Buy Veteran First! 

Think Veterans First Organization

Think Veterans First is an organization that highlights the significance of veteran-owned businesses (VOBs).  Our aim is to form a network of veteran owned businesses, i.e. a "Vet-Net" through which VOBs can collaborate and share best practices to grow their businesses.  Stronger veteran owned businesses mean stronger local and state economies with the possibility of hiring other veterans.  

Our plan is simple.  We will reach out to Veterans, Military and Veteran organizations federal, state, and local government entities, veteran owned businesses, and the public to promote the Think, Shop, Buy Veteran First movement.  Our veterans have served their country with honor and distinction and deserve our support.  

The WHY?

Why Buy Vet? For years the founder has searched for veteran owned businesses to help with small projects around the house such as plumbing, lawn care, electrical work, and the like without success. It was discovered while searching on some of the larger well known lists that small veteran businesses are not represented there. On most of the lists, you will find the larger more established companies with lots of revenue. On other lists you will find a host of companies that fall within the disabled veteran categories. ALL veterans deserve to be represented on a comprehensive list where they can be found, recognized and where the services they provide are readily available. As a result, here comes Buy Vet. Buy Vet will ensure that all Veteran owned businesses are represented on one comprehensive list, for this exposure. All Veterans are encouraged to participate in this worth-while event.
